Oral Defense.

I felt pretty much confident when I woke up this morning, having believed I had mastered the topic about divorce. I didn't want to wear white or black slacks, and nothing that makes me look like a business woman. I didn't mind what they would say but got a pair of leggings, violet blouse and a black blazer with black doll shoes (at least this made me comfortable and more confident). I don't know what I can say about my speech. I didn't memorize anything about the definition of divorce, but rather tried to understand it and explaining it (I suck at memorizing). Then one of the panelists asked the question I feared, "What is the difference between divorce and annulment?" I did answer, tried not to get mentally blocked, but he wasn't satisfied with what I 'explained'. I was so distracted that I lost my concentration, and that made me forget what I knew about annulment. I did what I could. I'm not good when it comes to public speaking, so I don't have a reason to whine about it... I believe. The oral defense was held for the whole morning, and different sections came to watch it. I guess we will be watching Humility's (the other third year section, not the model section) oral defense tomorrow, and I will enjoy... I guess. The easiest topic there seemed to be was teenage suicide. I wish that was our topic instead of divorce. -Sighs-

Here is my day in pictures:

Annulment complete.

Today was absolutely a boring day. BUT YOU KNOW WHAT? Tomorrow's our oral defense, and I don't even know what to wear. I'm trying to get more information so that when I've been asked a question, I'll answer without any problems. For the first I was really confused about what annulment really means. I did search about it on google and opened some sites stating what annulment really is, but since I'm not that good in vocabulary, it was kind of confusing for me to understand it fully. So, this is what I did...

And it helped A LOT. :)

For two days straight, I haven't been able to turn the computer off  because of this:
Yeeeaaah, I've been addicted to the Last Airbender ever since I was 12. Haha

This day was a piss. There was absolutely no excitement in it, but here are pictures anyway. :3

Oh well, oral defense will be scary. But it's only a matter of time before it's done, so I can take it!

How was your day?

"Oh my God!"

I woke up at 5:22 this morning, and I admit, I was NOT in mood. I knew this was not what I wanted because of me being such a shy person and all that stuff. I came to school at about 6:38 and my mates from today's event were all from the first section, so I was always silent because I wasn't a close friend. Anyway, here are some pictures from today:

Frozen water (and when it melts it'll be ice cold) and my lunch.

"I don't want to go."

Borrowed my sister's back pack.

Press Conference.

The hosts were amazing, they were funny!

Mates.

Myrnie winning first place in the Copy Reading and Headline Writing contest. Congratulations!

Myrnie, Shaira, Krizzia and Serene.

Jevon, Ms.April and Ms.Rowena (the two guidance councilors).

And here are the photos I took for the contest (the ones with captions are the ones that were submitted):

"Marshes found to beautify the scene."

"Disastrous changes in trees."

"When we cut trees, we are entitled to replace them."

"How people abuse nature's gift."

"Infrastructure's role in these changes."
All captions were made by Myrnie (the girl in the picture holding a certificate and wearing a medal, won 1st place in Headline writing). Well, for some reason, I should've chosen the pictures and captions myself. Oh well, I'm not a professional, and I'm still learning. I didn't win at all, but I'm fine with that. I didn't want to join but I did it for the sake of our school or something... I don't know. Maybe because I want to experience something new and try to get a little rid of this shyness, and I think it helped. Throughout the whole press conference I kept on whispering, "Oh my God" because I was afraid of what was going to happen and who was going to win... so that explains the title. I forgot what our (photojournalists') mentor's name was from the photojournalism session earlier (before we went out taking pictures), but he was indeed very good in explaining to us about photography and its importance. He even taught us about PICTURESS (yes, with two Ss, and I don't so fully agree with PRAYERS, but well well, I can live with that).

I forgot some of them. Maybe they'll pop out in my head and I'll put them on here. ;)

What do you think about the pictures?

Photojournalism.

I was so great today that I left my cellphone on my bed. I do know you'll guess what it means, NO PICTURES for this post. Oh, it also means that this post will be a BORING ONE. I just came home from school and that press conference I talked about IS going to happen tomorrow. We had two hours of meeting about news paper writing. We're all seven contestants for tomorrow's contest and each of us have our own category. I am, as written on previous posts, in the category photojournalism. I'll be bringing my sister's digital camera and take pictures and make a story out of it. I'm just glad it isn't as hard as the others. If I'm right, I got the easiest work to do. All the others have to write articles for sport news, featured news, and things like that. But I don't want to write more about this.

Last morning we had classes, and I succeeded at sleeping again. After the flag ceremony and before the classes, we had first Friday mass. I was so sleepy that I kept pinching my fingers to keep me awake. When we came to the classroom right after the mass, I sat down on my chair, leaned on its small desk and started sleeping for the whole recess. For the afternoon, we didn't have classes because every first Friday of a month, we have club sessions (I belong to English club or Communication Arts and Booklovers Club). We had it for two hours, and after that we had 5s (cleaning the classrooms and each sections' assigned area). I was not happy because it was Friday already because of tomorrow's event. I was called by our year level's second honorable student and he told me that we would have a meeting for tomorrow's event from four to six o'clock. I just hope I can do what I have to do tomorrow. I know this won't be easy. I do have a little confidence as what I feel right now, I'm just afraid I'll do something that I'm so NOT supposed to do. :s

I think I have to prepare myself. I have to search about photojournalism and familiarize with what it's all about and that stuff. Ugh, I hate how this happens without even asking if I like it or not. :(

Do you have any experiences with photojournalism?
