I apparently have no life. I go to bed at, what, three o'clock in the morning, and sleep for ten to twelve hours, which makes me get up at around one to three o'clock in the afternoon, and it's the same process every day. What do I do when I'm up? Mostly just playing Habbo Hotel, if not, then I'm looking for new bands and songs, if not, then I'm watching the Legend of Korra, if not, then I'm out in the city for dental check-up or roaming around SM which has become such a total bore. Oh, and there are times I'm outside playing badminton with either my mom or my cousin Kervey, but I can't play forever since I get this mild headache. Gah, what a lame body I have. :/
I can probably say I miss my friends. I miss hanging out with Kerrvy, Trixia, Julie, Charisse, Jackie, Lyka, and also Shelamay and Mervin Ian. I mean, since it's summer, I don't get to see them so often, which makes things boring. I should probably start downloading a massive number of movies to get rid of this incredible feeling of boredom.
Oh, those friends. :(
And then we have "The Angels." As of The Angels, I refer to my cousins Laurie Ann, Sweet, and Carmela (she's not really my cousin, but my cousin Laurie Ann's cousin on her father's side), and my sister Hannah. Our cousin Abigail is also a part of The Angels, but she's never really there. :(
And here I am, alone in my room, going through the usual activities of Habbo Hotel and downloading illegally. Darn...
I and my sister have been looking for this ice cream on a stick for some time now. Well, this ice cream is not JUST an ice cream on a stick. It costs a whole PhP50 for each pack of Magnum. We found a freezer full of Magnum in Metro at the end of the day, and of course we were curious, making us buy each for ourselves. Don't get us wrong, but yes, we do find it a little weird that just an ice cream on a stick would cost PhP50, but how can we know if we don't taste for ourselves and see if it's worth it?
Anyway, speaking of today, I do have "news". You know how I've complained about my current phone, Nokia N8? Well, some days ago, when I and my sister walked around Cyber Zone in SM, we walked by this Motorola Booth, and I spotted some nice phones. Kervey had also recently talked about my cousin ate Celine's waterproof phone, Motorola Defy, and how he had fun using it when they went swimming in a pool somewhere. Of course, I love swimming, and I've always wanted a waterproof camera. But now, there's a waterproof phone! Then I decided to have a look on it today. There's also this Motorola Defy +, and the saleslady, which was mom's neighbor before (what a coincidence), told us it was very good phone, and that I wouldn't regret buying it.
So, sure. Since I still have a little cash left, I actually bought it. I mean, come on, a waterproof PHONE? I won't miss on that! Since it's summer, and there's a lot of swimming, why not? I've always wanted a waterproof camera, but now I've got a waterproof phone. :))
YAY!
Speaking of Magnum, I'm not quite sure what to say about it. It tastes delicious, that without any doubts, of course. I do believe it's worth the price though, since the vanilla ice cream and the chocolate coating are thick. The chocolate coating is very delicious though, Belgian Chocolate. But, I don't think I'm going to buy Magnum anymore. I mean, it is delicious. It's kinda just pricey.
Magnum Almond.
Speaking of summer, I got to buy two pairs of shades today! I mean, I don't really wear shades mainly because I was afraid I would look stupid. But I suppose I overcame that fear, so yeah. :))
Believe, me those two pictures on the left are more like "I want to take a picture of myself to see how I look." So, pardon me. :))
And another thing, my sister Hannah has been talking me into this Nikon D3200, and she's kind of "forcing" me to buy it. I'm not really that into photography since I'm not really good with it, but she's insisting that I will be developing my skill overtime if I do devote my time to actually take pictures. Still, I'm not quite sure. But, come on, it's a freaking awesome camera. A freaking 24 megapixel DSLR. I mean, I don't know, DSLR cameras have become very mainstream lately. It might just be a waste of money, but I still kind of want it. We'll see... :))
So, I finally got enrolled in CIT. The only thing I lack now is my uniform. I suppose I can sort of say that I'm officially a student in CIT, and will be starting two months from now. HAHA! I've gotten my study load, or in other words, my schedule of classes for my first semester. Seems promising.
Schedule. :3
Anyway, it was sort of tiring to go up and down the ramps of one of the buildings of CIT. I finally took the entrance exam and got the result of my IQ as above average and English as just average (I must have really fucked up). But the best part was that I got accepted to CIT, and that's good enough for me! So, I took the entrance exam at eleven to twelve o'clock earlier, then the results would be released at two thirty. So, we went to pick up Hannah, and ate lunch in Sbarro in Ayala. Was pretty good though. We went around the department store for awhile, where I picked up a black nail polish (finally). Well, my sister bought three small bottles of different shades of blue, and I fell in love with two of them (since I love icy blue and green blue). What I did was to paint a thick line on the center of my nails, alternately, and it reminded me of Alissa White-Gluz's dress in the music video of Business Suits and Combat Boots. :))
It's currently 3:12 A.M, and here I am, awake and very much alive. I hate this, not being able to fall asleep right away. Yeah, I decided to take my laptop and do exactly what I'm doing now. This is not fun, especially when you know you have to get up early. I have to get up early because I have to take this entrance exam for college later on, and I am going to get enrolled in CIT/CIT-U (Cebu Institute of Technology - University).
I don't want to give reasons why I'm going to study there, because I suppose people won't understand why anyway. Well, let me just state one reason; I believe I can relate more to the people that go there than other universities. Of course, I think the people around you counts as well. People that probably know me are actually expecting me to go to better universities like University of San Carlos or University of San Jose - Recoletos (where my sister goes). But to be honest, I don't want to study in those universities, and I've made my final decision, so don't judge me. Thank you. :))
GAH!
All I wish to do right now is fall asleep. This is absolutely no fun, and it's no good for me since I'm going to take a freaking exam. Oh God, why does it have to be so hard to fall asleep? I hate these thoughts I have in my head, they won't shut up and I can't fall asleeeeeep! :(
So, now again I'm sitting in front of my laptop, just woke up. I had a great dream actually, about me saving the world like it was just a Hidden Objects Game. Weird, but you know what they've discovered, we dream at least five dreams a night. Oh well, so that is that.
But anyway, it's Black Saturday today, and it seems like we're staying at home. I'm actually still planning on how to properly use my blog, so there are ideas on their way, eventually. I've got to go eat lunch now, I suppose. :))
By the title I expect you to understand why I have failed to blog the past days. Yeah, the internet connection sucks. I'm currently on my laptop using the wireless internet (which runs faster), and it's helping me access blogger.com. I don't know why I haven't thought of it earlier. Anyway, I'll be going out soon, and I'm sitting here with a towel on my head because I just came out of the shower. We'll be going over to my aunt's, which feels strange, because my mother and aunt hasn't really rolled together the past five years, but they're in peace now. I suppose that gives you the idea of what it's all about. Yeah, it's easter, and we're going over there to decorate this statue of Mary or something for the street parade later on. Well, I'm not quite the religious type, but I respect them anyhow.
I've survived the last days (thanks to Sims 3) since we've been staying at home. All the malls and shops are closed today, so we don't really have any luck. Anyway, I promise, as soon as I come home, I will blog about those days since I've got small things to share. :)
I had an appointment with the dentist yesterday, plus it was the distribution of grades. Luckily, I didn't have any failing grades. I was expecting to receive more than my card, and I got my expectations right. Along with my grades, I received the results from the CEM test I had last month, the rest of the graduation pictures, and two certificates from ACT (Asian College of Technology, where my cousin Kervey graduated). There was also a big sale in SM (which lasts for three days), so I got to buy some stuffs as well.
Oh, of course, I don't have the best grades (who does when you're lazy?). But passing in all is good enough for me. :))
Just the graduation pictures. Yeah, still had my big, wavy hair. :3
The two certificates I received from ACT. You see, I won't be studying there, so if anyone's actually interesting in receiving these, I'd be glad enough to give them away.
Since it was sale in SM yesterday, I got to buy three new shirts from Artwork. It was very inexpensive (of course). I bought these shirts that had two words describing one thing. I even found this shirt that said swords and dragons, and reminded me a lot of Skyrim. It could be a Skyrim inspired t-shirt for what we all know... or something. Then the two others were basically rock and roll, and skulls and bones.
Anyway, speaking of college, since it's the next stage for me, I've decided to take the entrance exam this coming Monday. I'm slightly nervous, to be honest. I mean, so far I don't know anyone who is taking the same course as I am (Fine Arts) in CIT, so I suppose if there's no one, I'll be going alone in the first day of school and probably be lost in the corridors or halls of the whole university. I am just hoping my sister's boyfriend will come along on Monday to show me around, I would really need a tour guide. The advantage of going there, though, is that CIT is the one and only campus in Cebu, so I won't be fleeing from one campus to another to catch up my different classes. I have algebra and statistics, which will only be occurring for one semester each. So, after that, I have no more math! WOOO!
I have a lot of complaints about my five months old phone, Nokia N8. It always stops working, freezes in the middle of everything, and I can't even remove the albums from the music player even if there's nothing inside. I could get it reformatted, but then I suppose I'll lose Ovi Maps (which I never use anyway). Stupid cellphone is stupid. It's only five months old, and it has already started acting like a whore. My old Nokia N70 was better, it started being all bitchy after three years.
I spoke with my sister about this earlier, and she suggested me to buy Samsung Galaxy II, just like her phone. Well, I am planning on it, and get the N8 sold. My phone pisses me off, and I could throw it anytime because of frustration. I even have problems with transferring the photos from my phone to the computer! Douche phone. So, I tell you. I do not recommend Nokia N8 to you at all. I don't know about the N9 though, I suppose it's better.
Basically, I've decided to change the spelling of the way you call a person whose zodiac sign is Aries. For two months, I've had my blog under the name of "The Arien", but just yesterday, I changed it to "The Arian" for it seemed to be the "most correct" spelling of it. I mean, I like the Arien, but Arian seems to be cuter, somehow.
Anyway, it has been a full day, it's already 8:42 pm, and there have been aftershocks again and again. Of course, I'm not quite sure if there will be any bigger earthquakes (of course, who does know?), but until now there have just been small shakings. I'm currently having this tiny head ache, and it's sort of warm here. I have my bedroom door WIDE open, so that whenever it shakes again, I can run right out without doubts. I mean just some steps away, then I'm in an open space without any obstacles. Well, let's just hope the ground won't crack under my feet.
Open and prepared! :))
Ugh, what a weird feeling though. I sit here, in front of my computer, talking to some of my friends about the earthquake earlier, and then it starts shaking. The only way I will know that it is really shaking, is by looking at my fluorescent lamp which shakes. I hope there's no more aftershocks coming, because I really want to go to school tomorrow, honestly speaking. I don't want to stay at home during weekdays. :/
It's the only thing I look at first to see if it's really shaking. Damn.
Anyway, last Saturday, during the NAT review, I took a video of Lyka, and she took a video of me. I don't know, I just thought it looked pretty silly. Have a look if you want. :)
This is one of the most bizarre days ever. I went to school today, smiling and happy as always. But right after the flag ceremony and the weekly worship during Mondays in the gym, I felt nauseated and I really had the urge to throw up. I was excused by my adviser, and Kerrvy went along with my to the restroom. I stood there gagging outside the restroom when we both saw how full it was (freshmen students were preparing for a play in their Filipino subject). But when I went inside the stall, I stood there and I didn't feel so sick. Then we both went back to the classroom, and I sat down for awhile. After math period, during recess, the urge hit again, so now I went running with Jackie keeping up, and before I even reached the restroom, I threw up in one of the sinks outside the lockers. Damn, at least it was just fluid. But it was nothing comfortable. I threw up multiple times after that, until there was nothing inside my stomach. I sent a message to my mom, and told her about how I was doing. My parents came and picked me up, and even in the car I threw up two times. I have no idea what it was, but I was guessing it was because of my lack of eating. I got home, and I lay down immediately. But no, even if I ate food, I still threw up. In total, I vomited nine times. That's one of the most uncomfortable feeling ever.
My mom was my nurse today, and I'm proud of her. She cares for me so well, even my dad. My mom came in and out with food and drinks, and my dad told me carefully that it's important to get food in my system even if I threw them up again. He said it's worse to throw up with an empty stomach than a full one. I took some bites of the bread my mom made me, and as expected, it ended up in the toilet bowl some minutes after. I lay down and tried to get some rest. My mom came in my room and told me my sister, Hannah, was having the same problem. She was also throwing up and they were on the way to get her. Just as my mom went out the door, I started to wonder why in the world my bed was shaking. I heard one of my maids scream, "Earthquake!" That's when I sort of panicked and called for my mom, and screamed, "There's an earthquake!" Holy cow, the ground was really shaking under my feet, and I had no idea if I should be afraid or not, because it's not something I can stop anyway. My mom dragged me out of my room, and went outside for an open space. I stood there, sick and tired, and my mom was shaking. Well, it was pretty quick, so I went back inside. There was a power outage though, but I decided to lie on my bed for the hell of it. I listened to music for awhile.
Ugh. Every time I got up, I had to vomit. o.O"
Food and drinks were desperately falling in line. I wanted to eat them all, but meh, somehow my stomach pushed them out anyway.
They set up new curtains on my room, and I love how the lights comes in. I remember these curtains, and how they made me feel sad during the time of you know, this.
But now I'm alright. I had to go through a lot of coughing and gagging, but getting it out every time is better than keeping it in.
Well, whatever it was, my mother believes it was food poisoning since me and my sister got sick. I heard she threw up four times. I'm not entirely sure what we ate, but it must be something that only me and my sister ate since it was only the two of us who got sick. But at the moment, I'm fine. Classes were suspended right after the earthquake. There was even an earthquake in the city, which was even worse than where I live. I found a video, but I have no idea why the people are running.
As for an atheist, I lie here just hoping people are alright. I've received tons of messages about prayers, but I usually don't give a shit about that, honestly speaking. Yes, it did scare the hell out of me, the earthquake, mostly because I've never experienced it to be as shaky as that. I've come across earthquakes before, but they were too little to even get scared of. Damn. You know, it's nature, and it cannot be stopped no matter how much you pray... in my opinion. But I respect whatever you do, just don't let it brainwash you.
Speaking of my last post, I can already say you know what this is all about. I'm way too busy right now to be able to keep up with my blog, so I'm dropping off everyday posts from this day to Friday. I have to do this because of our project in History, about the whole learning insights of economics which is one of the reasons why I'm getting depressed lately. HAHA, that sounds so lame, but whatever.
The picture says it all.
So I'm leaving my blog with the 365 days challenge, because I need to focus on doing the projects I need to do for the semi-finals examination this February 16 and 17. I need to get my clearance cleared, and it's NOT going to be easy at all. I know I can do this, because I want to graduate and I want to go to college and be geared for life! :))
Oh well, take care, and I wish good luck to myself.
If there's one thing that's keeping me up this late (I would've been to bed if not for this), it's my project in history. We're supposed to write thirty pages about everything we've thought in economics. And can you guess what the worst part is? I'm still on the third fucking page! Damn this shit. Ugh, I apologize for inserting so many words you consider bad, but screw that. I know I'm not allowed to complain like this, but I guess our teacher went a little too far this time. Nah, I should get back to work before I start whining.
See all those tabs up there? That's the only reason why I can do this project.
Some weeks ago, my sister sent me a URL to a picture. Upon reading what was written on that image, I gave a little laugh for the fact that it was true and I could relate to it. Now, what was this picture about? It's about how a simple Filipino party is like. As you all know, I'm part Filipino and I'm proud to be that. I grew up as a teenager here so I have the Filipino morals mostly, but I don't have the belief like they do. Plus I say a lot of bad words (the joke way) in front of my friends and parents. Well, my friends do it and my parents don't seem to be surprised, so I keep to it. But back to the topic: Filipino Parties.
Well, for you people who aren't Filipinos or know nothing about them, here's something for you. Yeah, basically it's mostly like that. :)
If there's one thing I'm hearing right now, then it's the changing of Christmas songs. I'm not really listening to them though. But as I guess, my Christmas spirit this year has literally died. Or to speak more sense, it doesn't feel like it's Christmas. But whatever. I'm having a count down, because I have been bored to death the last days and I want that to change. So yeah, call me an idiot or a nerd, but I actually miss school right now.
For the three last days I have avoided everyday posts mostly because I didn't want to put boredom on my blog. Yeah, that's basically all I've been up to the last days: Sitting at home and being bored all day long. Nah, even the sound of Christmas songs bores me. Now, I just put on some music and it's helping me. :)
Merry Christmas anyway folks. I'll blog later on or tomorrow about this day. :)
If there's one thing I'm up to now, then it's downloading videos from YouTube. I'm getting tired of these videos I have on here, all AFVs. Yeah, I want to show Kerrvy and the rest of the pack Epic Meal Time. I don't really know why, but I know it will absolutely blow their minds.
Yeah, all candies. I think those with candies are the most entertaining. I don't know why, but yeah. HAHA :))
Well, I know there are so many people with the sign Aries in the whole blog world, but I'm actually using it's name for me. Not that it's supposed to make me a top blogger or anything. Hey, be creative, right? I've actually had this crazy thought about making a symbol for myself. A lot of things went running through my head. I came across some thoughts about my zodiac sign, so I researched about Aries and got inspired. That's where I made up my symbol, plus it has three different symbols in one symbol.
So you've got it explained. I told you. There was nothing satanic about this. HAHA
So, I welcome you all to my renamed blog The Arien. It's much shorter too, which is excellent. I decided to experiment with colors for a change. I wanted my blog to look "hot" so I painted it with hot colors, haha. I do hope that this blog year of mine will be a great year. Although I've had some up and downs the last 365 days, I'm still glad you're still here (if you are). Also, I hope you like my header? I must thank my sister for taking the picture. I edited it myself. Damn, it has already been a year. o.o
Original picture.
I did some shading on the picture because I kinda look a little too flat on there. Oh well, as long as it works. Although I have noticed something I haven't been sticking too: Hannah and Kervey's guest posts. You remember I wrote about letting Kervey and Hannah have their time and you'd get to know more about them? Yeah, I totally forgot about that and only ended up publishing one post written by Kervey. How lame. Oh well, Kervey doesn't seem to interest this too well, so I'll only have my sister doing it. Every Friday from now on (which means this coming Friday). She has written one, but I didn't get the chance to publish it yet. I'll do that and force her to write more posts.
And for this one year old blog, I want to thank my sister for being the biggest supporter of all. She reads my blog thoroughly and would point to me my writing mistakes. Also to my fast readers, thank you. I appreciate and love you. ♥
Darn. I went to the dentist today, and guess what? I got my retainer today. Now I sound like I've never talked before. No really, I don't want to talk so much anymore. I used to have retainer when I was a grade six student, and it wasn't fun either. Just after I put on my retainer, my sister tested me by saying different things. But as lame as she is, she said, "Say, 'I suck.' And of course, as lame as I am as well, I repeated after her, and it sounded more like, "I shuck." Ugh. -.-"
That miserable eye.
But I won't be hard on myself. Whenever we need to do something about talking in front of the class, some reports or something, I will remove it. I will absolutely not give myself a chance to sound like a retard in front of every classmate of mine.
Hey, I'm Kervey. I am a computer engineering student from ACT (Asian College of Technology). Right now I'm on my last semester of being a computer engineering student. I'm already 21 years old and I was born on November 5, 1990. I'm shy to people that I don't know or to people I have never met before, but actually I'm very talkative guy to people who are close to me. I'm a very happy guy, but when it comes to love many girls chase me but I dont like them 'cause I'd rather have them as friends, not as lovers. Sometimes I feel like love is so unfair 'cause when I like someone, they don't like me. I dont know why, maybe I'm not good to them. What if I will try to love someone who loves me 'cause I know they are sincere and are willing to give their love to me?
I'm still single right now because I had a very bad relationship and is still on the stage of moving on. I like girls who are nice to me and tell me everything about herself. But the most important thing I'm looking for in a girl is her being who she is, because in that way, I can determine if our relationship will work or not.
I'm the 2nd child of 4. I come from a family which is very happy and we're open about everything. I share about everything to my mom 'cause she gives advices I would maybe need. I have 2 brothers and a sister, by the way. I like playing basketball, tennis, badmiton, volleyball, guitar, drums, piano, computers, and i like singing. I go to gym every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, because I like staying in shape .
I'm 5'6, and lots of people that I know tell me that I am handsome. By the way, I hate being LINKED to a gay.
That's all I will write for now, see you next Monday!
I have a new idea! I've been thinking about this for two days or so, and I've been thinking about blogging about my sister and cousin on here as well. I mean, although this blog is about me, it can't only be about me. So, I'm putting in my sister and cousin on here since my sister fails to blog every now and then. Let me see, every Monday and Friday? Anyway, I've told Kervey about this, and he was fine with it. But I haven't told Hannah yet, but I'm sure she will approve.
I'm pretty sure Hannah will read this before I tell her, haha. But, what are they supposed to write? Of course, about themselves! Example, tomorrow (which is, of course Monday), Kervey will start off by writing about himself, where he was born, and all that stuff. Then on the next Monday, he will write about his favorites or role models or whatever he may think of. It's all up to them. The reason why I'm doing this is because I want people to know more about the people that are so dear to me. And the reason why I chose both of them is because they both live here and it would be hard if it would be any of my friends. Since Kervey approved on this idea, and he chose Monday, he will probably be starting tomorrow. Hah, we'll see.
WHAT?! No freaking update for four days? Yes, couldn't help it. The internet was gone. But, as you see, I'm back and I have to keep up with the 365 days challenge because I don't want it to go down the drain since I'm already halfway done.
School has started for me again, and semestral break is officially over. It's kind of funny how the internet came back on the day school started again.Well, I'm not saying it's a pain in the ass to be in school, but that's so much better than staying at home being bored to death the whole day.
So this post was just for updating, to let you know I'm still alive, still breathing and not dead.
